I realized that we never blogged from our trip to California this past April! Wow what an incredible trip. Check out all of our highlight photos!
We started in Los Angeles, ventured to Santa Monica then to Palm Springs. We had a session in Joshua Tree with one of my best friends from high school on our first night in Cali. We were worn out from the travel, but my goodness what a session!
The second day we drove to Santa Barbara and enjoyed all of the incredible coastline vibes.
Our third day was a beautiful drive north on the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). Talk about breathtaking views and coastline!!! This was one of my favorite locations on our trip. That night we stayed in Monterey right on the water!
Day 4 we woke up in Monterey early and started our journey to Yosemite. Barrett had visited California and Yosemite before and we both have no words for this place! Yosemite is such a beautiful, inspiring place and I’ll let the photos do the talking…
We stayed at Rush Creek Lodge our first night and Evergreen Lodge the second night in Yosemite. We highly recommend both of these places if you’re planning a trip to Yosemite!
Day 5 we were able to catch the sunrise at this amazing view and wow it was STUNNING!
We woke up early on Day 6 and drove all the way to Napa Valley!
We stayed at The Kenwood Inn and we WILL be back here. Talk about an amazing hotel, probably the nicest place we have ever stayed and we felt like kings and queens! Seriously this hotel was so similar to something you would expect to be in Italy. We loved it.
Our last day in California was in San Francisco and wow what a beautiful city it is! We played tourist all day before our red-eye flight back to North Carolina and got to see a lot. Here are a few photos of what we did!
We loved our road trip around California and can’t wait to go back!
