Ashley and Hampton had their engagement photos taken at Fort Fisher in Kure Beach, North Carolina. They travelled to Wilmington from Myrtle Beach, SC just for their engagement session and, as usual, Fort Fisher did not disappoint. We love doing couples’ sessions at Fort Fisher because of the different light options you get around sunset. We love to start at the top of the dune to catch some of that golden haze look, then move into the super unique wind-blown trees to capture the light bursting through the limbs and branches. After that Ashley and Hampton changed into their second outfits and we headed up and over the massive rocks that create a barrier wall and onto the beach.
